"The No Child Left Behind Act is working," Bush said with first lady Laura Bush, Education Secretary Margaret Spellings, New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg (I) and School Chancellor Joel Klein at his side. "I say that because the nation's report card says it's working. Scores are improving, in some instances hitting all-time highs."

A few moments later, he added, "As yesterday's positive report card shows, childrens do learn when standards are high and results are measured." The official White House transcript later corrected the statement to "children."

The 14% of American's who still think he is doing a good job must be seriously fucked in the head....HE CAN'T SPEAK CORRECT ENGLISH.

Yep! But it inconceivable how dumb he is. How can anyone scew up talking about children's education like that....You have to wonder if the Bush's sit around the table at family dinners and laugh about how dumb they are, "Hey remember when Grandpa barfed at the Chinese state dinner?" "Heck, that's nothing, remember W said "childrens learning" when he was talking about No Child Left Behind?"

These people are really dumb, or maybe they just don't travel well. Either way it's time to be rid of them.

I agree....even Reagan disliked Bush Sr. As a matter of fact, I remember an altercation between the two before a debate. Bush was the big front runner for the R's at the time. Georgie pitched a hissy fit about some of the lower echelon contenders being in the debate saying that they didn't deserve to be on the same stage as he and Reagan. Reagan lost his mind and told him, "I paid for this damned mike and they can all stay!" It was a turning point in the polls for Reagan, if I remember correctly. Then he tried the party reconciliation bit by naming the little turd as his VP.

Ah ok, I found it on youtube. It wasn't Bush he was arguing with there. It was Green. But it stemmed from Bush not wanting to have the little guys, that didn't raise the right amount of money, enter the debates and Reagan paying for the other guys to get in from money in his own campaign fund.
